Why 59 Knives?
59 knives is a curious name and many guests are asking us how the restaurant got its name. The restaurant got its name during the transformation of the family’s house to a hotel. When designing the hotel 59 vintage army knives were found in the basement of the house, which were included in an army lot that was purchased by Andreas Vassilopoulos, many years ago; hence the name 59 Knives.
